Blues Scale Expansions: Adding the major third

Tablature: FreeLick1-FunkyBluesLick

This is an example of how you can use the major third with your Minor Pentatonic scale. This example is in the key of C and I am using the C-Blues scale (Also know as the C-Minor Pentatonic scale with the added blue note F#)

In this lick I am using the first position Blues Scale shape with the addition of the E note:
